The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography continues to strengthen its position as a leading scientific, educational, and methodological center for training specialists in the field of culture and the arts. Under the scientific supervision of Academy Professor and Candidate of Economic Sciences Zhanat Babazhanova, a practice-oriented Master’s project in art management was successfully executed. The initiative aims to popularize classical art and implement modern project management technologies.
Master’s student Mikhail Ogay’s project, dedicated to promoting the organ hall of the Kazakh National University of Arts (KazNUA), has become a benchmark case demonstrating the successful practical application of the Academy of Choreography's scientific and methodological framework. The project integrated innovative marketing, communication, and production tools, enabling academic venues to compete effectively for audience engagement in today's media environment.
The practical centerpiece of the project was a candlelit organ music concert. By combining performances by soloists Bagdat Abilkhanov (violin) and Saltanat Abilkhanova (organ) with a unique visual presentation and an intimate atmosphere, the format allowed audiences to experience masterpieces of world classical music – works by Antonio Vivaldi and Tommaso Vitali – in a fresh light.
“We strive to educate professionals capable of creating forward-thinking projects, developing creative ecosystems, and setting new directions for the domestic creative economy. Master’s education at our Academy is built on the synergy of a deep theoretical and economic foundation combined with effective practical management tools in the cultural sphere,” noted Project Academic Supervisor and Professor of the Academy Zhanat Babazhanova.
The successful implementation of this project demonstrates the high standard of training under the "Art Management" program and reaffirms the key role of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in providing scientific guidance, driving development, and modernizing concert and production activities in Kazakhstan.
