The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography would like to remind students that applications are still being accepted for the competitive selection process under the international academic mobility programme for studies at foreign partner universities during the spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year.

Students of the Academy's Faculty of Choreography and Faculty of Arts are invited to apply.

   • Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Have completed at least 60 ECTS credits (generally second- or third-year undergraduate students);
• Have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.8;
• Meet the foreign language proficiency requirements established by the host university;
• Have no disciplinary sanctions at the time of submitting the application.

Final-year students are not eligible to participate in the competition.

4 November 2026, 15:00 (Astana time).

Stages of the Selection Process

The competition consists of two stages.

Stage I — Submission of Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents to the Academy's Administrative Office:

1. An application letter written in free form.
2. An official academic transcript in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English).
3. A motivation letter in Kazakh or Russian.
4. A CurriculumVitae (CV).
5. Two letters of recommendation:
   • One from the faculty, endorsed by the signature of the relevant supervisor or academic advisor, in Kazakh or Russian (the Dean's signature is mandatory);
   • One from the Department of Student Affairs and Social Issues.
6. Proof of foreign language proficiency (if available), such as an IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo certificate, or another document confirming the applicant's language proficiency.
7. A certificate of family composition (where applicable, for applicants with a relevant social status, including orphans and students from large families).
8. Copies of awards, certificates and diplomas relevant to the chosen field of study, received for participation in national or international events (if available).

Stage II — Applicant Interviews

The interview will take place on 6 November 2026. The exact time will be announced later.

Announcement of Selection Results

The results of the competitive selection process will be published on the Academy's official website.

The final decision regarding admission to the academic mobility programme rests with the host university.

Document Submission Procedure and Contact Information

All required documents must be submitted to the Administrative Office of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography by the specified deadline.

Before submitting their documents to the Administrative Office, applicants are kindly requested to visit the Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations (Room 474) for a preliminary review of the completeness and proper preparation of their application documents.
