APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM

Dear undergraduate students! We are pleased to announce the start of the application period for participation in the academic mobility program under bilateral agreements for the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

Students eligible to apply for the competition funded by the Republican budget (only for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan studying under the state educational grant) must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed at least 60 ECTS credits (typically 2nd–3rd year students);
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 (Grade Point Average);
  • Knowledge of a foreign language at the level required by the host higher education institution (HEI);
  • No disciplinary penalties at the time of application.

Students applying for academic mobility on a self-funded basis must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8;
  • Knowledge of a foreign language at the level required by the host HEI;
  • No disciplinary penalties at the time of application;
  • No outstanding tuition payments to the Academy.

Application deadline: November 20, 2025, 15:00 (Astana time).

FINAL YEAR STUDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

The competition consists of two stages:

Stage I – Document Submission

Applicants must submit the following documents to the Academy’s office:

  • Student’s application letter;
  • Transcript in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English);
  • Motivation letter (in Kazakh or Russian);

Two letters of recommendation:

  • From the faculty (signed by academic advisor or curator; Dean’s signature is mandatory);
  • From the Department of Educational and Social Work;

Document confirming foreign language proficiency (if available):

  • IELTS – minimum B2/5.5, TOEFL – 46, Duolingo certificate;

  • For HEIs with Russian as the language of instruction, an English certificate is not required.

  • If the host university has different requirements, their rules will apply;

  • Family composition certificate (if student has a social status, e.g. orphan, from a large family);

  • Copies of awards, certificates, diplomas relevant to the field of study (from national or international level events), if available.

Stage II – Interview with applicants.

Date and time of interviews will be announced later.
