On April 8, 15, and 16, the Astana Opera stage will be filled with the atmosphere of one of the most poetic works of the classical repertoire - the ballet "La Bayadère." The music of Ludwig Minkus and the choreography of Marius Petipa transport the audience into the atmosphere of ancient India, where love and tragedy intertwine.
The participation of students from the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography holds a special place in this production. Students from the 1/5 and 2/6 grades will take the stage to perform the "Manu" and "Arapchats" roles, filling the performance with lively energy, dynamics, and vivid character. These scenes create a mysterious world and make the production especially expressive, helping the viewer immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Oriental tale.
Students of the "Ballet Artist" program will perform in the famous "Kingdom of the Shades" — one of the most recognizable and beautiful episodes of the ballet, where precise synchronicity of movements creates an effect of illusion and infinity.
Behind the high level of performance lies the work of teachers G. Aliyeva, L. Makartseva, G. Saifullina, and L. Tazabekova. They help the students not only master the complex choreography but also more deeply understand and feel the art of dance.
For the younger generation, participating in "La Bayadère" is more than just a performance. It is an important moment when students truly feel like stage artists.
