Ballet Art on the Miners' Stage

Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography visited Karaganda as part of the XIV Open Festival of Operetta and Musical "DosStar."

On the stage of the Miners' Palace of Culture, the young artists of the academy performed works from the classical ballet repertoire, as well as productions by contemporary foreign and domestic choreographers. The program included modern, sport ballroom, and national dances, creating a rich palette of images and moods.

Choreography always gives the audience aesthetic pleasure, delighting with a variety of emotions. Every movement of the performers matched the accompaniment notes precisely, captivating and enchanting the audience. The Academy’s students demonstrated their mastery not only through virtuosic performance but also thanks to the luxurious costumes — each of which deserves to be called a work of art.

Undoubtedly, the gala concert captivated the audience with the dancers' charisma and lightness, drawing them into the magical world of ballet.

Reviews of the emotions and impressions received by connoisseurs of choreographic art continue to be sent to the Academy.

“With deep admiration and unhidden joy, I write these words of gratitude to you! As a resident of Karaganda and a devoted admirer of your unique art, I was deeply moved and impressed by the performance of the Academy’s students at the 14th Open Festival of Operetta and Musical “DosStar,” which took place on September 20 at the Miners' Palace of Culture.

Your performance became a true highlight of the festival and, without exaggeration, one of the brightest events. The auditorium was full, and everyone fortunate enough to attend took with them a piece of the magic you create on stage.

Seeing young artists from Astana on stage is always a special pleasure. Your skill, energy, and dedication to art are truly impressive. The program you presented was so diverse and captivating: from masterpieces of world ballet classics to bold and innovative works by contemporary choreographers. And the national dances, in which centuries-old traditions acquire such a bright and relevant expression, were simply incredible! This is the bridge between the past and the future, which is so important for us, lovers of our culture.

It is especially valuable that in this anniversary year, when the Academy celebrates its 10th anniversary, our festival had the opportunity to become part of this significant event. For me, as your viewer and admirer of your creativity, it was a great honor to see how your students, who are already confidently making their mark in the art world today, give us so much beauty and emotion.

Personally, as a resident of Karaganda who has been following the successes of the Academy for several years and is already acquainted with some of the teachers and students, I want to express my sincere gratitude. Your high skill, incredible grace, beauty of movement, and that unique energy you give to the audience are an invaluable gift.

Bravo! Your performances are not just a spectacle, they are inspiration, an example to follow, a demonstration of how dedication to art can transform the world.

Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening!

With deep respect and admiration, Your devoted admirer, Serik Temirlan.”
