Evgeny Sergeyevich Moiseyev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choreography, became the choreographer-director of the XIV Winter Charity Ball.

The Winter Charity Ball, organized annually by the Bolashak Corporate Foundation, was held in Astana. As in the last year among the debutants of the ball, there were also students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. Winter Ball is a ball with a meaning, even in the selection of debutants, during the casting a lot of attention is paid to those who have experience in volunteer activities. In total, this year 30 debutants were selected to participate in the XIV Winter Ball, who delighted the guests of the ball with bright performances. For several months young people of different professions have been diligently training with the choreographer-director of the Winter Charity Ball, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choreography of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, member of the Federation of Sports Dance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the project "Generation of Independence" Evgeny Moiseev.

Traditionally the ball consists of performances of debutants. This year 5 dances were prepared: Polonaise, Waltz, Tango, Latin and Disco. The annual winter charity ball has an 11-year history. Every year the event is organized to attract public attention to the problems of getting quality education for children with special needs and support talented young people. Its essence is not only in the performance of debutantes, but also in the programs that are implemented by the "Bolashak" Foundation on the funds collected during the ball. More than 90 million tenge was raised at the last charity ball. The proceeds will be used for the social projects "Every child deserves a school" and "Travel grants".
