Today, for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan, elections are taking place for deputies to the new legislative body — the unicameral Kurultai. These first elections following the constitutional reform hold historic significance for the country's political system. At such a pivotal moment, the team of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography demonstrated strong civic engagement.

Students of the academy were among the first to visit polling stations to cast their votes. This step by the young creative community showed that the new generation is actively engaged in the nation's destiny and holds a high level of civic responsibility.

Representatives of the academy staff also actively participated in this nationwide event, attending the central venue of the national online telethon "New Era of Kazakhstan" in Astana as honored guests.
