On April 29, 2026, the Educational Theatre of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography hosted the creative concert “Akhmet Zhubanov: Harmony of Music and Dance,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh composer, conductor, and founder of Kazakhstan’s professional musical culture, Akhmet Zhubanov.

The evening opened with a video presentation about the life and work of Akhmet Zhubanov. The main part of the program featured a variety of performances highlighting the richness of instrumental music and choreography, as well as poetic pieces that enhanced the emotional depth of the concert.

The concert served as a tribute to the great master and demonstrated the continuity of generations, combining classical heritage with contemporary artistic interpretation performed by the Academy’s young artists.
