A pivotal role in fostering an anti-corruption mindset among youth lies in legal anti-corruption education and upbringing. Combating corruption is impossible without the active participation of civil society. Nurturing an anti-corruption culture requires continuous engagement with the younger generation, as only the early introduction of anti-corruption standards can eradicate this social ill.
On 6th December 2024, as part of the “Fundamentals of Anti-Corruption Activity” course, debates were held at the Academy on "How to Strengthen Immunity Against Corruption Among Youth?" Second-year students from all academic programmes of the Faculties of Choreography and Arts participated in the event. Participants explored the topic during the debates, formulated statements, presented arguments, and defended their positions. The event was also dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day on 9th December.
Results of the Debates: First place went to the “Art Management” programme team, "Zhastar: Әділ қоғам үшін білім аламыз!" (Youth: Learning for a Just Society), represented by Yesmagambet Berik and Ramazanova Sabina.
Special awards were given as follows: “Best Speaker” to Ormanova Karolina, “Most Knowledgeable” to Yesmagambet Berik and “Most Active” to Batrakhanova Fariza.
