Development of Academic, Scientific, and Choreographic Cooperation of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography

For many years, the Academy has been engaged in international cooperation with foreign organizations and universities.

Today, we are pleased to announce that the Academy has signed memoranda of understanding with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (United Kingdom) and the Bolshoi Theatre School in Brazil (Brazil).

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a British higher education institution specializing in music, dance, and the performing arts, located in London, the capital of the United Kingdom. It will become a partner for the Academy’s higher education programs.

The Bolshoi Theatre School in Brazil began its work on March 15, 2000, in Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The founders of the school were the world ballet legend Vladimir Vasiliev and Brazilian governor Luiz Henrique da Silveira. The Bolshoi Theatre School will collaborate with the Academy’s College of Professional Education, working with both students and faculty.

To strengthen professional ties and promote the exchange of best practices in the field of choreographic art, the parties have signed memoranda aimed at developing partnership relations focused on scientific, creative, and academic exchanges.

One of the priority areas of cooperation will be academic mobility for students and faculty members. Exchange programs will allow students and teachers to expand their professional competencies and become acquainted with various dance teaching methodologies.

The parties also plan to take an active part in joint projects, including scientific and practical conferences, master classes, and seminars. Special attention will be paid to research activities in the field of choreography.

The implementation of these joint initiatives will make a significant contribution to the development of professional choreographic education and the strengthening of international cultural ties.
