Dana Kuanyshbekova, a doctoral student of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, took part in the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference “Language and Dance. Peoples, Gestures, Folklore,” organized by the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts – GITIS jointly with the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and with the support of the Moscow State Linguistic University (SCODis Center) within the framework of the strategic academic leadership program “Priority 2030.”

As part of the conference, the doctoral student presented a scientific report entitled:

“From Pavane to Neural Networks: The Experience of Using Artificial Intelligence in Teaching the Discipline ‘Historical Ballroom Dance.’”

The report addressed issues related to the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools into the system of professional choreographic education, the specifics of their application in teaching historical ballroom dance, as well as the challenges of preserving traditional teaching methodologies in the context of the modern digital transformation of the educational process.

On the second day of the conference, the doctoral student participated in a master class conducted by Igor Okhlopkov based on the heritage of Igor Moiseyev, as well as in the concert program and master classes organized for conference participants.

Participation in the international scientific conference became an important part of the internship, contributing to the development of research activities, international academic cooperation, and professional exchange of experience in the field of choreographic art.
