Doctoral Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Visited Leading Cultural and Art Institutions of Uzbekistan as Part of Their Research Internship
As part of their academic internship in Tashkent, doctoral students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography visited major cultural and educational institutions of Uzbekistan. The program aimed to promote academic exchange, strengthen professional ties, and explore the current state of the arts in the region.
During the internship, the doctoral students visited:
- The Museum of the History of the Timurids, exploring the rich historical legacy of Amir Temur and his descendants;
- The State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi, where they attended the ballet “Romeo and Juliet”;
- The State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, a leading institution for arts education;
- The Experimental Theatre “Diydor”, known for its innovative productions and creative approach to stage art;
- The Uzbek National Academic Drama Theatre, attending the performance “The First Swallow”;
- The State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, where they met with faculty and students;
- The Photo Exhibition at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan, dedicated to cultural dialogue among Turkic nations;
- The Opening Ceremony of the Center for Islamic Civilization, showcasing the spiritual and artistic heritage of the Islamic world.
These visits contributed to strengthening academic and cultural cooperation and expanding inter-university partnerships between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the fields of art and education.
