The Department of International Cooperation and Public Relations, in order to improve English language skills among the students of the Academy, jointly with “American Corner Astana” organized an information meeting. The meeting took place on March 28, 2025 at 3 p.m. in auditorium 447 (academic building).

During the event, representatives of “American Corner Astana” provided a presentation on the center's activities, as well as opportunities to improve English, including events such as the IELTS Prep Club, Speaking Club, etc. Additionally, the participants learned about the prospects of studying in the USA. Furthermore quizzes and intellectual games were held covering topics of U.S. history and culture.

The main objective of “American Corner Astana” is to create conditions for intercultural exchange, strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries and provide information about the United States, its social development and cultural values.

Public speaking clubs, film clubs, debate clubs, and other initiatives are working within the Center to improve conversational English language skills. Participation in cultural and educational programs of the American Corner gives you a chance to become a volunteer, spend time in an English-speaking environment and make friends with new people both in Kazakhstan and in the USA.
