At the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, a meeting was held between representatives of the Social Health Insurance Fund and the students of the Academy. The main goal of the event was to increase students’ awareness of the compulsory social health insurance system (CSHI) and to conduct informational and explanatory work regarding participation in the system and access to medical services.
During the meeting, answers were provided to the most pressing questions: who qualifies as a participant in the CSHI, which categories of citizens are exempt from paying contributions, what medical services are available under the system, and how students can check their insurance status.
The Fund’s representatives emphasized the importance of timely informing young people about their rights and responsibilities in the healthcare sector, highlighting that participation in the CSHI is not only access to a wide range of medical services but also an investment in their own health and well-being.
