November 2-3, 2023 in the walls of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held a series of events within the framework of scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of D. Abirov.

November 2, held the first in Kazakhstan Republican competition of performers of solo male Kazakh dance named after People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Dauren Abirov. According to the results of preliminary selection 19 artists representing 17 regions (age - from 16 to 35 years) were admitted.

According to the results of the competition, the highly professional jury, headed by the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talpakova G.I., designated the winners:

Grand Prix - Muratbekov Diyar (Kazakh National Academy of Choreography),

1st place - Әmirbekov Rustem (Kazakh National Academy of Choreography),

2nd place - Duisenbai Erzhan (Ensemble "Gulder" of the State Concert Organization "Kazakhconcert named after. Roza Baglanova"),

3rd place - Arshanbek Bakhtiyar (Taraz Regional University named after M.H.Dulati).

The prize of audience sympathy was awarded to Sergazin Alibek (Dance Ensemble "Mәңгіlіk" KGKP "Regional Philharmonic named after Akan Sery of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of the Akimat of North-Kazakhstan region"), special prize to K. Abirova - Marat Mukha Mukha. Abirova - Marat Mukhamedjan (Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after Temirbek Zhurgenov).

The peculiarity of this competition was that absolutely all participants of the creative event received monetary and valuable prizes. The sponsors were the artistic director and chief ballet master of the model choreographic school "Nurshaulem-ai" Zharaspayeva M.A., the founder of the brand "Astana_povar" Zhakupova I., the founder of the Kazakh brand "Hadiah collection" Zhienbaeva K.K., as well as psychologist-gestalt therapist Daubaeva N..

The bright event of the competition day was the master class of Kazakh national dance from teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Sadykova A.A. and Shamshiev A.Sh.

The final stage of the competition day was the Gala Concert. The scenario of the Gala Concert was presented by emotionally performed numbers of the contest participants and students of the Academy. The atmosphere of festivity and creative inspiration did not leave indifferent in the hall.

We want to believe that the First Republican Competition of solo male Kazakh dance performers named after People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Dauren Abirov achieved its goal - marked the next starting point of new achievements of our performers!
