On December 15, ahead of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a futsal match took place in the gymnasium of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The competition was held between the “Barys” team—undergraduate students—and the “Sairan” team—Academy staff.

The match was intense and competitive. During regular time, it was impossible to determine a winner in the clash of experience versus youth. The teams went into halftime after a hard-fought draw, 2:2. The outcome of the game was decided by a post-match penalty shootout, in which the Sairan team won 6:5.
