The Academy held a meeting of the Graduate Placement Commission for graduates of 2026 who completed their studies under the state educational grant program.
The Graduate Placement Commission is established annually to facilitate the employment of young specialists and to ensure compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the mandatory work obligation for graduates whose education was financed from the state budget.
During the meeting, issues related to the placement of graduates, the procedure for fulfilling employment obligations, as well as the rights and responsibilities of young specialists were discussed. Members of the Commission familiarized graduates with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education” and the Rules on Job Placement of Specialists, Reimbursement of Expenses Incurred from Budgetary Funds, Granting the Right to Independent Employment, Exemption from or Termination of the Employment Obligation for Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan Who Studied under the State Educational Order, approved by Order No. 403 of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 11 August 2023.
Particular attention was paid to matters concerning the mandatory employment obligation for graduates who studied under state educational grants, the grounds for exemption from such obligations, and information regarding the state expenditures incurred for the training of specialists.
The placement of graduates was carried out on the basis of submitted documents, including employment certificates and employer guarantee letters.
The primary objective of the Commission is to support the effective employment of graduates and to create conditions for the practical application of their acquired knowledge and professional skills in various fields of activity for the benefit of society and the state.
