On June 8, 2024 at the State Academic Philharmonic named after E. E. Gubkin. Е. The project “Art International” proudly presented the premiere of the ballet “THIS IS BALLET IN THE STYLE OF THE 2000s”. The organizers and ideological inspirers of this exciting project are artists who have completed their training at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography at the faculties of choreography and arts.

Here, at the departments of pedagogy, ballet, art history and art management, the participants of the project acquired not only professional competencies, but also the desire to realize their creative potential and artistic vision in the field of choreographic art.

The performance “THIS IS BALLET IN THE STYLE OF THE 2000s”, divided into two acts, was set to music that sounded in the era of the “noughties”. The plot revolves around a girl Adel and two friends Ali and Karim, who are madly in love with the girl. Adelle will choose only one, and the end is provided with a happy ending.

Choreography with skill and sense of style was realized by Aidan Kalzhan.

The professional troupe not only presented its interpretation of classical art, but also transported the audience into the exciting world of nostalgia. These tracks, familiar to everyone, became not only the background for the dance movements, but also the key to a collective immersion in the memories of the past.

This ballet is a prime example of how the bond between the Academy and its alumni is unending. Certified competitive professionals, imbued with a spirit of collaboration and inspired by the Academy's professional community, actively collaborate with each other to popularize the art of choreography and bring new ideas and perspectives to the world of ballet.

This collaboration results in projects that capture the imagination with their originality and creativity. Art International combines talent, experience and passion to create something truly magical.
