On May 18, graduates and teachers of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography jointly held the traditional tree-planting ceremony. Every year, graduates contribute to the greening of the Academy’s territory and leave their signatures on the “Graduates’ Alley.”
The event was organized by the Faculty of Choreography, the Faculty of Arts, and the Department of Educational Work and Social Affairs.
The tradition of graduates planting trees exists in many countries as a way for students to express gratitude to their university. Near each “green gift,” plaques are installed indicating the graduation year. This tradition will continue in the future so that the park may flourish with more greenery.
There is a wise saying among our people: “A nation with a one-year vision plants wheat, a nation with a hundred-year vision plants trees, and a nation with a thousand-year vision nurtures an enlightened generation.”
We wish our graduates to strengthen their creative potential and continue to remain our pride.
