Guests from the Republic of Korea Completed an Internship at the Academy

Guests from the Republic of Korea completed an internship at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The delegation included a teacher from the “Lira Ballet Academy” and students from Pusan National University, who are simultaneously training at Lira Ballet Academy. This arrangement allows them to combine academic studies with practical experience in a Korean ballet school.

From February 9 to 14, the guests attended masterclasses led by the academy’s leading instructors, focusing on classical and folk-stage dance.

At the end of the internship, the participants received certificates confirming their completion of the masterclasses.

A rich cultural program was organized for the guests, including a visit to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central Mosque of Kazakhstan, the “Astana Opera” and “Astana Ballet” theaters, as well as a city sightseeing tour.

This significant event marked the first major collaboration between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea in the field of choreographic art. Their visit opens new opportunities for international cooperation and strengthens cultural ties between the two countries.

The Korean guests also highlighted the professionalism of the academy’s teaching staff, the high level of student training, and the Academy’s openness to cooperation. They noted the instructors’ expertise, the Academy’s extensive educational resources, strong reputation, modern teaching methods, unique practical opportunities, and a wide range of cultural and educational initiatives.
