On 12 October 2026, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography hosted the interactive training session «Tolyq Adam: Heart, Mind and Will» for first-year students of the Faculty of Choreography and the Faculty of Arts.
The training was delivered by invited certified business trainers Aigerim Tarbagatayeva and Sabur Ikhsan, doctoral students at the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business.
The participants explored the concept of Tolyq Adam—the “Whole Person”—through the philosophy of Abai, which emphasises the harmonious unity of mind, will and heart. Particular attention was given to purpose-driven leadership, ethical entrepreneurship, ESG principles, personal responsibility and moral values in decision-making.
During the training, the students discussed the relationship between inner attitude, intention, action and outcome. They also completed practical exercises aimed at identifying their personal qualities and conducted a SWOT analysis of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and areas for further development.
The interactive format encouraged first-year students to participate actively in the discussions, exchange views and reflect on the importance of knowledge, honest work, responsibility and personal integrity in their professional and individual development.
Such initiatives contribute to the development of students’ leadership qualities, the formation of a conscious approach to life and the promotion of integrity, fairness and mutual respect.
