Every year on April 2, the birthday of the great Danish storyteller G.H. Andersen, the whole world celebrates International Children's Book Day. Its celebration was established in 1967 on the initiative and decision of the International Council for Children's Books.
This day is a great opportunity to remember once again what an important role reading plays in a child's life. Of course, the library of the Academy of Choreography could not stay away from such a celebration. On this day, young readers of the library chose their favorite book and read aloud an excerpt from it.
