An International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Management and Marketing in the Arts” Held in Plovdiv

The XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Management and Marketing in the Arts” took place at the Prof. Asen Diamandiev Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts (Plovdiv, Bulgaria). The forum focused on contemporary theoretical and applied aspects of managing artistic organizations, as well as the interaction between art and business.

The main goal of the conference was to bring together scholars, managers, experts, and young researchers from different countries and universities to discuss important issues in managing artistic organizations and developing creative industries. Specialists in art management from Greece, Romania, Indonesia, China, Kazakhstan, and seven Bulgarian higher education institutions participated in the conference.

Professor Zhanna Tolysbayeva, Director for Scientific Work and Strategic Development at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, participated in the conference with a presentation titled “Collaboration as an Important Component of the Development of Contemporary Education and Art”, in which she shared the practical experience of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography as an educational institution that integrates the best global practices while creating its own communication and partnership style.

The Prof. Asen Diamandiev Academy of Music, Dance, and Fine Arts is a long-term partner of our Academy. Collaboration between the two universities has been developing over several years and is moving into offline formats. In April 2025, Bulgarian scholars Vesela Kazashka and Tsvetomira Ivanova attended the scientific conference “Great Personalities of the Great Steppe” as guests. In November, Zhanna Tolysbayeva was invited to the international scientific forum in Plovdiv. Plans are underway to continue and further strengthen scientific research and academic activities.
