On February 27, 2026, an international teleconference titled “The Unity of Turkic Peoples in Preserving Authentic Dance Culture” was held online in the conference hall of the Казахская национальная академия хореографии (Kazakh National Academy of Choreography).

The international academic teleconference, organized by the Faculty of Choreography, was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Academy.

The purpose of the event is to discuss and strengthen academic cooperation, as well as to reinforce the unity of national cultures through the language of dance, bringing together representatives of Turkic countries to preserve, study, and develop the authentic dance culture of Turkic peoples.

Following the teleconference, a collection of academic papers is planned to be published.

Participants in the teleconference included the Academy’s partners — representatives of foreign and Kazakhstani universities. Speakers represented the Baku Academy of Choreography, the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, the Kazan State Institute of Culture, the B. Beishenaliev Kyrgyz National University of Culture and Arts, as well as the Z. Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts.
