On February 4, 2026, a scientific-methodological seminar on the topic “Introduction of the Art of Choreography into the Scientific and Methodological Circulation of the Kazakh Language” was held in the conference hall of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The event was organized by the Scientific and Methodological Laboratory of Kazakh National Dance. The aim of the seminar was to discuss current issues in the development of choreographic art, as well as to expand the scientific and methodological use of the Kazakh language in the field of choreography. The seminar was led by the head of the laboratory, Professor Toygan Izim.

Among the speakers were specialists in the fields of art and pedagogy:

• Balzhan Tleubayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University;

• Karlygash Aitkalieva, Candidate of Art History, Head of the Educational Program at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University;

• Samal Bakirova, PhD, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Choreography and Art Management at Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University.

The seminar program also included presentations, professional discussions, exchange of opinions, and summarizing of results.
