Japanese ballet schools are increasingly favoring Kazakh choreographic education. From October 11 to 17, a delegation from the Yoshiko Takagi Ballet School (Japan) is visiting Astana. For the fourth consecutive year, Japanese educators have chosen the Academy to professionally advance future artists: this year, 22 students accompanied by 4 teachers have arrived for the internship.
The annual growth of the delegation highlights the high level of trust in the Kazakh school of choreography. An intensive educational program has been prepared for the guests: leading Academy instructors are conducting master classes for the young talents in classical and character dance, as well as ballet variations.
During the meeting, the Rector of the Academy, Bibigul Nussipzhanova, expressed her sincere gratitude to her Japanese colleagues and warmly welcomed the participants: "Over four years of our cooperation, you have truly become like family to us. We deeply appreciate the tremendous effort that teachers and parents put into organizing these trips, and we are sincerely grateful for your trust in our academy. It is a great joy for us to see children come to study here with genuine interest and a love for ballet. In this anniversary year for the Academy, we have tried to prepare an interesting and useful program, and we hope this stay brings the children new knowledge and inspiration," noted Bibigul Nussipzhanova.
Representatives of the Japanese side expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome, emphasizing that the children look forward to every visit to Astana, and that the opportunity to learn from the Academy's teachers provides them with invaluable professional experience.
In addition to intensive classes in the ballet studios, the program includes an immersion into Kazakhstan's cultural landscape. The guests will visit the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Astana Opera, and Astana Ballet theaters, where they will watch the national ballet "Altyn Gul" and meet Academy alumni successfully performing on the country's premier ballet stage.
