On June 23, 2026, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography held a solemn graduation ceremony at the Astana Opera Theatre.

The event brought together graduates of the School-College of Professional Education, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, their parents, faculty members, Academy staff, and distinguished guests. The ceremony became one of the most significant events of the academic year and marked the successful completion of an important stage in the lives of young professionals in the field of choreographic art.

A welcoming address to the School-College graduates was delivered by the Artistic Director of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Altinai Abduakhimovna Asylmuratova. She congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their studies and wished them creative inspiration, professional growth, and new achievements on the stages of Kazakhstan and around the world.

During the ceremony, diplomas of technical and vocational education were awarded to graduates of the educational program “Choreographic Art” with the qualifications “Ballet Artist” and “Dance Ensemble Artist.”

A congratulatory speech for bachelor’s and master’s graduates was delivered by the Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Bibigul Nurgaliyevna Nusipzhanova. In her address, she emphasized the importance of remaining dedicated to one’s profession, continuously improving professional skills, and carrying forward the best traditions of national choreographic art.

On this day, diplomas were awarded to graduates of the educational programs “Pedagogy of Choreographic Art,” “Pedagogy of Ballroom Dance,” “Ballet Mastery,” “Art Studies,” and “Art Management,” as well as to graduates of the master’s degree programs in “Choreography,” “Art Studies,” and “Art Management.”

Graduates who completed their studies with honors became a particular source of pride for the Academy. Their outstanding academic achievements, creative activity, and professional dedication are a vivid reflection of the high quality of specialist training provided by the Academy.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the awarding of master's degree diplomas to distinguished figures in culture and the arts. Among the graduates of the Art Management program were Madina Unerbayeva, leading soloist of the Astana Opera State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Order of Kurmet, and composer Renat Gaisin, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Order of Parasat.

On behalf of the graduating class, representatives of the graduates expressed their gratitude to the Academy’s leadership, faculty members, mentors, and parents for their support, professionalism, and contribution to their personal and professional development.

Congratulations were also delivered on behalf of the parents’ community. The Chairperson of the Parents’ Committee thanked the Academy for its high educational standards, attentive approach to students, and the supportive environment created for the development of their creative potential.

The ceremony concluded with the traditional Graduates’ Waltz, bringing together students, faculty members, and parents in an atmosphere of joy, pride, and hope for the future.

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography congratulates the graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year on the successful completion of their studies and wishes them continued creative success, inspiration, professional recognition, and a bright future in the arts.
