Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Visits Landmarks During Tour in Romania

As part of the гастрольный concert of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, scheduled for March 20, 2026, at the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theatre in Bucharest, students, faculty, and the Academy’s leadership explored some of the city’s key landmarks.

One of the highlights of the program was a прогулка through the Old Town Bucharest—a historic area known for its atmospheric architecture, narrow streets, and rich cultural heritage. Participants had the opportunity to see iconic buildings, experience the unique atmosphere of the capital, and learn more about the history of Romania.

A particularly strong impression was made by a visit to the Palace of the Parliament, one of the largest administrative buildings in the world and an important symbol of the country. Guests learned about its construction history, architectural features, and its significance in the modern state.

The экскурсия was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Romania.

The upcoming concert will mark an important step for the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in strengthening international connections, expanding its audience and creative dialogue, as well as fostering exchange of experience and professional growth.
