On November 15–16, 2025, Nazarbayev University hosted the annual creative and sports festival Zhasstar Zhalyny–2025, which brings together talented and active youth of the capital. The official closing ceremony and the awarding of the festival winners took place on November 17.

Students of the Academy won in the category “National Dance.” The performers presented the dance Syrly Samal, choreographed by Almat Shamsheev, holder of the badge “Uzdik of the Cultural Sphere” and senior lecturer of the Faculty of Choreography. The rehearsal teacher was Alila Alisheva, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan and professor.

In addition, the Academy’s students showcased their skills and talents in other categories, including “Pop Vocal,” “Contemporary Dance,” and “Mobile Photography.”
