On September 2, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography celebrated Knowledge Day with a festive and emotional opening ceremony of the 2025–2026 academic year.
Teachers, parents, students, and esteemed guests gathered in the Academy’s theatre, where the celebration began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The spotlight was on the first-grade students, who were welcomed into the Academy family with applause and warm smiles. They proudly recited their first school poems on stage, marking the beginning of their educational journey.
Academy Rector Bibigul Nurgaliyevna Nusipzhanova addressed the audience with words of encouragement and heartfelt congratulations, wishing the students a year full of inspiration, growth, and creativity.
This academic year is especially significant as the Academy approaches its 10th anniversary in 2026. Since its establishment in 2016, the Academy has become a national symbol of excellence in the art of choreography and dance education.
The event also commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a cornerstone of the country’s independence, peace, and stability.
A symbolic moment during the event was the presentation of the very first textbook – the Primer (Bukvar) – to the first-grade students. The celebration culminated with the first bell of the school year, rung by students Tulepova Ailana and Zhomart Omar, officially launching the 2025–2026 academic year.
Following the ceremony, an introductory tour of the Academy was organized for the parents, led by the Head of the School-College of Professional Education, Svetlana Yuryevna Kokshinova.
