A Lecture-Concert "The Nightingale of Kazakhstan – Bibigul Tulegenova" h

Today, the Academy’s Training Theatre hosted a lecture-concert titled "The Nightingale of Kazakhstan – Bibigul Tulegenova," dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the legendary opera singer, People’s Artist of the USSR and pride of the Kazakh nation – Bibigul Akhmetovna Tulegenova.

The event was organized by the Academy in recognition of the singer’s immense contribution to the development of both national and global vocal art. The lecture-concert was opened by Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Azamat Zheltyrguzov, who shared his memories of Bibigul Tulegenova and spoke about her remarkable life and artistic journey.

A detailed presentation on the singer’s creative career, her participation in films, and literary works was given by international competition laureate Zh. Tyshkanova.

The concert program featured performances by international competition laureates – tenor Talgat Allabirinov, soprano Firuza Rakhmetova, and "Excellence in Culture" award recipient, accompanist Lyailya Seitova. The audience enjoyed some of Bibigul Tulegenova’s most famous songs, including "Gakku," "Ayttym Salem Kalamkas," "Bulbul," "Akkurai," "Balkurai," and "Spring Waltz."

The Academy, honoring the memory of this great singer, continues her artistic legacy, inspiring a new generation of performers and organizing cultural events dedicated to outstanding figures in the arts.
