On November 6, 2025, a lecture for students and faculty members was held at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography at the initiative of the Department for Youth Policy of the city of Astana. The event focused on countering cybercrime and religious extremism, as well as ensuring road safety.
The speakers at the event were representatives of the Police Department: Deputy Commander of the Patrol Police Regiment, Police Major Didar Daiyrbekov, and Head of the Cybercrime Counteraction Division of the Astana Police Department, Police Major Bagdaulet Ospanbayev.
During the meeting, the speakers presented thematic video materials, as well as statistics and an analysis of the spread of cybercrime and extremist offenses, according to which the crime rate in these areas across Kazakhstan continues to grow.
According to experts, the most effective way to combat extremism and cyber fraud is through timely and accurate public awareness on these issues.
