December 19, 2024 in the library of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Auezov Institute of Literature and Art held a meeting with managing staff and famous scientists.

Employees of the leading research center for the study of Kazakh folklore, literary criticism and art history will talk about the history of their scientific organization, the main milestones of development, the achievements and prospects for joint cooperation of the Academy with the departments of fine arts, as well as theater and cinema. The speakers presented new works by the Institute's researchers, published this year as part of the completion of grant research projects.

Among the guests are First Deputy Director, Candidate of Philological Sciences Almira Kalieva; Head of the Department of Theater and Cinema, Candidate of Arts, Associate Professor Mukan Amangeldy; Scientific Secretary of the Institute, PhD Kendzhakulova Ainura.

The Auezov Institute of Literature and Art is a research center under the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan. He studies national literature, folklore, art and culture from antiquity to modern times. Scientists of the institute have published many fundamental works, including “Babalar sozi” and “History of Kazakh literature”. The Institute consists of specialized departments that study different aspects of the creative heritage of Kazakhstan.
