On May 12, 2026, Yevgeny Moiseyev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choreography at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, took part in the plenary session of the 2nd International Conference on Ballroom Dance Sport at the invitation of the Moscow State Institute of Culture (MGIK). The session was held in the Red Hall of MGIK in the Russian Federation.
Yevgeny Moiseyev delivered an online presentation on the topic “Specific Features of Training Future Specialists in Ballroom Dance Sport at Higher Education Institutions in Kazakhstan.” In his report, he shared the experience of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in preparing specialists in this field and outlined the prospects for further development of educational programs in ballroom dance sport.
The conference brought together leading experts, educators, and representatives of the professional community from different countries. The plenary session also featured renowned dance sport professionals from Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Denmark, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
The participation of the representative of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in the international conference provided an important opportunity for professional exchange, discussion of current issues in the development of ballroom dance sport, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of choreographic education.
