On September 29, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography performed at the Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulyash Bayseitova during a solemn event dedicated to Teacher’s Day.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its purpose was to highlight the importance of teachers’ work and to raise their social status. About 120 teachers from all regions of the country participated in the event.
The official part was conducted by the First Vice Minister of Education, Mayra Meldebekova. She congratulated the teachers on Teacher’s Day and expressed sincere gratitude to them on behalf of the ministry.
The performance of the Academy’s national repertoire piece "Aqbayan," set to folk music arranged by the folklore-ethnographic ensemble "Hassak" with choreography by Anwar Sadikova and Almat Shamsiev, became a bright highlight of the evening. It enriched the content of the festive event, created a celebratory atmosphere, and demonstrated the high level of preparation and talent of the performers. The Academy students’ performance was met with enthusiastic applause and lively audience response.
