The presentation of publications dedicated to the development of Kazakh choreography and choreographic education took place

On April 23, 2025, the library of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography hosted a presentation of two significant works reflecting key milestones in the history and modernity of the national choreographic art:

  • The book "Dauren Abirov – algashky kazakstandyk choreographer / Dauren Abirov – the first choreographer of Kazakhstan". Author: Professor Isim Togan Ospanovna
  • Monography "Pedagogy of professional choreographic education". Author: Professor Kulbekova Aigul Kenesovna

The moderator of the meeting was Professor Isim Togan Ospanovna, the author of a book about Dauren Abirov and a recognized expert in the field of choreographic art.

The book dedicated to Dauren Abirov reveals the life and creative path of the first Kazakhstani choreographer, who stood at the origins of the national choreographic school. The publication combines elements of biography, historical analysis and cultural understanding, reflecting the importance of Dauren Abirov's personality for the Kazakh scene and culture in general.

The scientific monograph "Pedagogy of professional choreographic education", presented by Professor Kulbekova Aigul Kenesovna, raises topical issues of methodology and practice of professional training in the field of choreography. The work is aimed at the scientific and practical community in the field of art education and represents the interest to researchers, teachers and students.

The presentation was held in a warm, creative atmosphere and became a real celebration of science and art. The participants noted the importance of such events for the preservation of cultural memory, the development of academic dialogue and the strengthening of the professional community.
