The results of the annual “Best Researcher – 2025” award have been announced. The “Best Researcher” award is established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2024, No. 103-VIII “On Science and Technological Policy” and is one of the systemic measures to support researchers implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its purpose is to encourage researchers who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and technology, as well as to stimulate scientific and research activities.

Following the competitive selection process, 50 researchers representing research institutes, higher education institutions, and scientific divisions of various organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan were named laureates. In 2025 were submitted to the competition across seven fields: Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies, Medicine and Healthcare, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Military Sciences and National Security.

According to the results of the competition, Gulnara Tazabekovna Jumasseitova, Professor of Art Studies and Head of the Department of Art Studies and Art Management at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, was included among the 50 best researchers of the country.

The inclusion of the Academy’s professor in the list of award winners is a recognition of her significant contribution to the development of the humanities and the arts, as well as confirmation of the high level of research activity carried out at the Academy.
