The festival started on December 4 and lasted 9 days, young people competed in 10 nominations: Estrada, National Dance, Modern Dance, Musical Instruments, Chess, Poetry, Media, Theater, Drawing, Qazaq Quiz. 13 universities of Astana participated in the competitive program of the festival.

Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography annually take part in the competition "Jastar Jalyny -2023" and win prizes. This year students of the faculty of choreography Saniya Sakenove and Milana Strusinskaya again managed to add to the piggy bank of victories of the Academy. They became the best in the nomination "NATIONAL DANCE".

"Jastar Jalyny -2023" is a competition held in order to reveal the creative potential of youth, identify gifted young people, support and create conditions for the creative development of talented children and groups, the development of spiritual and cultural potential of students, improving the system of aesthetic and ethical education of students, the formation of active citizenship, social responsibility, patriotic feelings, moral values and leadership qualities.
