From October 17 to 19, 2024, a series of significant events took place in Beijing for the global dance community, including the establishment ceremony of the World Dance Education Alliance (WDEA) and an international forum for deans and directors of dance schools. Among the attendees were Nusipzhanova Bibigul Nurgaliyevna, Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, and Turginbaeva Aitolkyn Nesipbekovna, Dean of the Faculty of Choreography.
The WDEA is a newly formed organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of dance art worldwide. It creates opportunities for ongoing exchanges of experience among educational institutions, supports the preservation of cultural traditions, and encourages the implementation of innovative teaching methods. Joining the Alliance opens up exciting prospects for collaborative projects and initiatives aimed at elevating dance art on a global scale.
A highlight of the forum was the election ofNusipzhanova Bibigul Nurgaliyevna as Vice-Chair of the Alliance.
