The reporting concert of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was held on the Astana Ballet stage

On May 3-4, the traditional reporting concert of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took place on the stage of one of the main cultural centers of the capital, the Astana Ballet Theater. This significant event was the result of many months of hard work, creative searches and professional growth of young artists.

As part of the concert, talented students of the Academy performed fragments from the masterpieces of world ballet art, demonstrating a high level of training, stagecraft and artistic expressiveness. The audience warmly welcomed each performance, rewarding the artists with thunderous applause.

The evening program included the pas de deux from P. Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Sleeping Beauty”, the grand pas from L. Minkus’s “Don Quixote”, a scene from C. Pugni’s “The Little Humpbacked Horse”, a fragment from A. Khachaturian’s “Gayane”, variations from L. Delibes’s “Coppélia”, the pas de trois from A. Adam’s “Le Corsaire”, a variation from the ballet “Giselle”, and the Tatar dance from F. Yarullin’s “Shurale”. A special atmosphere was created by the national performances — the dance “Akbayan”, based on Kazakh folk music, and a choreographic composition set to the kui “Aqqular” by Nurgisa Tlendiyev.

Along with classical works, modern and national choreographic performances were presented to the audience. This evening became a real celebration of high art, allowing us to experience the greatness of ballet and make sure of the high level of training of young artists.

The concert brought together numerous art connoisseurs. Among the guests were both famous cultural figures of Kazakhstan and foreign fans of choreographic art. This once again confirmed that real art knows no borders — neither linguistic nor territorial — and is a universal spiritual value for everyone.
