Representatives of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography Took Part in a Forum at Nazarbayev University

On January 15–16, 2026, Nazarbayev University hosted the forum “Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Current State and Development Prospects”, with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek. Representatives of the Academy attended the event.

During the forum, key issues related to the development of higher and postgraduate education were discussed, including new approaches to assessing the quality of research activities, improving dissertation councils, and the application of artificial intelligence in educational and research processes.

The program included international workshops by ASIIN, QAA, and NAAR, focused on preparing universities for international accreditation, the role of external stakeholders, best practices in exporting educational services, common mistakes, and practical recommendations for the accreditation process.

A meeting with rectors and vice-rectors of organizations under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was also held. In thematic and plenary sessions, participants discussed state regulation, internal quality assurance, the implementation of modern educational technologies, the development of network-based programs, and the impact of educational program rankings on improving the quality of educational services.

The participation of representatives of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography in the forum made it possible to exchange experience with leading experts in the field of education quality, discuss contemporary international practices, and identify directions for the further development of academic and research activities. The outcomes of the event will serve as a basis for improving the Academy’s educational programs and strengthening its position in the national and international educational environment.
