From November 1 to November 11, 2024, the university stage of the "Best University Teacher – 2024" competition was held on the information platform https://universitycontest2024.iac.kz/ of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the decision of the Competition Committee (protocol dated 11.11.2024), the winner of the first stage of the competition for the title of "Best University Teacher – 2024" is Doctor of Arts, Professor Izim Toigan Ospankyzy. The deadline for appeals regarding the first stage of the competition is November 12, 2024.

By decision of the Academic Council, the competition materials of the winner will be submitted to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for participation in the second, national stage of the competition for the title of "Best University Teacher."
