On April 8, 2024, the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography opened its doors for the annual event "Science Week – 2024". The science week program includes a series of events such as a round table, an international scientific and practical conference, a small rostrum of the academy, master classes, traditional contests "Best poster presentation", "Best Art Project", Science café.

In the modern era of extraordinary change and globalization, many recognize that creative industries are driving the world. Creative industries are increasingly recognized as important for both social and global development and arouse the growing interest of the global community. In this regard, the first day of Science Week began with a round table on the topic "Creative industries: foreign experience, problems and development prospects in Kazakhstan", which was attended by scientists, honored artists of Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.

The round table was attended by: Doctor of Philosophy, Professor G.K. Shalabayeva, who devoted her speech to the consideration of aspects of creativity in culture through museum exhibitions and creative exhibits.;

PhD, Professor V. Kazashka, PhD, Associate Professor Yekaterinskaya A.A. and PhD, Associate Professor Chesnova O.A. conducted an analysis of personnel training, their potential and future prospects in the creative industry;

Professor Babazhanova Zh.A. and Professor Rakhmetulina Zh.B. reviewed the development of the creative sector in Kazakhstan and were able to compare foreign experience in this field.

At the conclusion of the Phd round table, Kulmaganbetova A.S. shared her opinion and experience regarding the implementation of a scientific project within the framework of grant financing.

The round table was held in an atmosphere of discussion and exchange of views.
