Royal Ballet Soloist Ryoichi Hirano Visits the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography

Ryoichi Hirano, a soloist of the Royal Ballet in London, visited the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography on a familiarisation tour. The Japanese ballet artist, currently performing with one of the world's most prestigious companies, explored the Academy's infrastructure. A guided tour was organised for him, during which he visited ballet studios, classrooms, and other spaces where future ballet artists are trained.

Ryoichi Hirano was born in Osaka. Following his participation in the Prix de Lausanne in 2001, he became a trainee at the Royal Ballet in London. He made his stage debut as a corps de ballet dancer in Act III of “Onegin.” In 2002, he officially joined the company as an artist, became a soloist in 2008, and was promoted to first soloist in 2012. In 2016, at the age of 32, Hirano achieved the rank of principal dancer.
