On December 24, 2024, a seminar of Nigyar Shakhmuradova, a third-year doctoral student of the 8D02108 “Choreography” educational program, was held at the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

The doctoral student presented a report on her scientific internship at the Baku Academy of Choreography and on the implementation of her individual study plan. Her presentation entitled “The Synthesis of National and Classical Dance in the Context of the Development of Azerbaijani Choreographic Art (mid-20th–21st centuries)” aroused great interest and lively discussion among the seminar participants.

Nigyar Shakhmuradova’s research highlights the uniqueness of Azerbaijani choreography and its significance in contemporary art.
