"Start the Year with Kindness": Academy Staff Visited the Mother and Child Center

On January 11, staff from the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography visited the National Scientific Center of Motherhood and Childhood to deliver gifts collected by the academy’s team as part of the "Start the Year with Kindness" campaign.

The event was organized by the Department of Educational and Social Work of the academy. Teachers from the vocational school-college, faculty professors, boarding school caretakers, as well as medical and administrative staff, actively participated in the campaign. They gathered toys, clothes, books, essential items, as well as baby booties handmade by the students of the boarding school.

The gifts were handed over to the young patients in the pediatric oncology department of the Mother and Child Center—children and their parents. The gifts were presented by Aliya Alisheva, Director of Educational Work and Social Development, and Sagynish Sultanova, Head of the Department of Educational and Social Work.

"It is very important for the little patients of the center to receive such thoughtful attention, and we are happy that your team has presented the gifts to our children with such care and understanding," said Aiya Sapuanova, a social worker in the pediatric oncology department.

Additionally, the Deputy Medical Director and Director of the Department of Medical and Regulatory Affairs at University Medical Center, Sholpan Altynova, expressed gratitude to the rector and staff of the academy.

"We sincerely thank you for your attention, care, and compassion shown to the children undergoing treatment and their parents," reads a letter from Altynova.

It is worth noting that the "Start the Year with Kindness" campaign was organized as part of the 2023 event plan for the UNESCO Club of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

We express our gratitude to the entire academy team for their active participation in this campaign. The realization of this socially significant event would not have been possible without your help. May kindness return to each of you!
