Start of the Youth Affairs Committee’s Work in the New Academic Year

On September 9, 2025, the first meeting of the Youth Affairs Committee (YAC) was held at the Academy, officially marking the launch of student activities for the new academic year.

The meeting agenda included several key focus areas:

  • Organizational activities of the YAC, updating work plans and improving communication formats with students;
  • Active student involvement in volunteering and public life within the Academy, promotion of new youth initiatives and support for student-led projects;
  • Discussion of the key aspects of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Address, with a focus on the role of youth in the socio-economic development of the country and in fostering civic responsibility.

During the meeting, a new Chair of the Youth Affairs Committee was elected, who will lead the committee’s work for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Special attention was given to preparations for the national creative project “Zhasstar Zhalyny” — one of the country’s largest youth platforms, bringing together talented students from across the regions.

The meeting also marked the launch of a mentorship initiative in collaboration with the Vocational Education School-College, aimed at supporting first-year students in their academic and extracurricular adaptation.

The first YAC meeting set a dynamic pace for the academic year and reaffirmed the Academy’s youth commitment to being active agents of positive change both within and beyond the institution.
