Today, the ceremonial event “Student Initiation Ceremony” took place at the training theater of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography.

This is a special day for everyone who has embarked on the path of a professional career: first-year students became the main heroes of the celebration, symbolically taking their first step into the world of professional art and choreography.

The event was opened by the Academy’s Vice-Rector Aigul Yesentemirova, who delivered a welcoming speech. In her address, she emphasized the importance of the chosen path, wished the students creative courage, inspiration, and the pursuit of excellence, and reminded them of the hopes placed upon them.

The celebration followed an unusual format — “Cinematography.” The parade-alle marched down the red carpet to loud applause from the audience and guests, creating the atmosphere of a real premiere. First-year students were divided into teams according to their fields of study: Art Management, Creative Art Industry, Teachers of Choreographic Art, Teachers of Sports Ballroom Dance, and Dance Ensemble Performers.

The participants presented a bright and diverse program, showing creativity in dance, acting, and other forms of art. The students created the event themselves: they came up with performances, designed costumes, and brought their creative ideas to life in every possible form. The event concluded with a festive disco.
