Students and graduates of the Academy became laureates of the V International Choreographic Festival-Competition in Georgia

From November 8 to 10, 2024, the 5th International Choreographic Festival-Competition dedicated to the renowned choreographer George Balanchine took place in Kutaisi. The competition brought together participants from ballet schools in Riga (Latvia), Batumi (Georgia), Tallinn (Estonia), and Astana (Kazakhstan).

The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography was represented by choreography students Alan Mukhtar and Rustem Amirbekov, as well as graduates and members of the "Gulder" ensemble Akkanat Smagulova and Anel Zhumalildina. They competed in the "Folk Dance" and "Contemporary Choreography" categories, presenting 10 choreographic pieces that showcased the full artistic range of our participants.
