The eventful visit of the delegation from Tokyo – Yoshiko Takagi Ballet School – to the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography has concluded, with 22 students and 4 teachers arriving as part of the delegation.
An intensive educational program was organized for the foreign guests. The Academy's leading teachers conducted master classes in classical and folk-stage dances for the young talents, as well as practical sessions on perfecting classical variations from world ballet heritage.
Yoshiko Takagi Ballet School Director Yoshiyo Narisawa shared her impressions of the cooperation:
“We are coming to the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography for the fourth time. All conditions of a world-class choreography school have been created here, and our children receive the appropriate professional experience and knowledge, which is very important for their future development as artists.”
As a token of gratitude for the fruitful work and high level of organization, the Japanese delegation presented stage costumes for the young trainees as a gift to the Academy. The costumes were provided by Yoshino Atelier, one of Japan's leaders in the production of professional attire for classical ballet and theatrical productions.
In addition to academic days, the rich program of the visit included cultural events: the Japanese students and teachers attended the ballet "Altyn Gül" by the "Astana Ballet" theater. The guests noted that the Kazakh ballet left a deep impression on them due to brilliant lighting direction, the impeccable skill of the artists, and the multifaceted musical accompaniment.
